Players: 4, two per side (two pairs). Focus: half-court consistency, singles to doubles transition, doubles communication, instant repositioning. Execution: Two balls start simultaneously from the same side: two parallel rallies are played, each player against the opponent in their own half of the court (arrangement of choice: down the line or cross-court). Each rally is confined to its own half — a ball leaving the half is an error. As soon as one of the two rallies ends, '¡Libre!' is called: the remaining ball in play opens up to the full court and is played 2 against 2 as a normal doubles point. Scoring: To win the point, a team must win both balls; if the teams split them, the point is void. It is played in tie-break format: the first to 7 wins. Coaching point: In the parallel phase, prioritize depth and margin — an error gives half a point to the opponents. At the call of 'Libre', whoever has finished their rally must immediately move into doubles position: the pair that recomposes first dominates the full-court phase. Whoever has already lost the first ball plays to nullify, whoever has won it plays to convert.
